THE SHED
We set posts for the first bee shed when I was a second year beekeeper. I reviewed the materials and determined that yes, facing east was the way to go. The morning sun would shake those bees into action. Once the posts were set and attention moved to the hemlock siding, I had some time to reconsider. A south-southeast exposure, allowing for winter cleansing flights, would be a better way to go. And so, the posts were set again.
